Learning Climate & Dispositions
Our second tower was built to address the community engagement component of the unified improvement planning process and includes surveys for families, students, and educators on the learning climate in a school and the learning dispositions of students. Our founding districts believed that this type of information was essential for portraying an accurate picture of the role their school districts played in students' lives, supporting the well-being of the whole child, and in many cases serving as a hub for the broader local community.
The development of this tower also means that our project can support data visualizations associated with survey data of any type. See related research for details on available surveys.
For education agencies in Colorado that are interested in leveraging the local accountability flexibility provided under SB 19-204, you can see a summary of the elements required for the unified improvement planning (UIP) process here. This tower works together with a few of the others to provide you with the data and reporting resources needed to align the required UIP process, with your approach to strategic planning, district and school management, and teaching and learning.
